Editorial policy

Unit Bureau is an independent desk. Registry profiles and articles are researched and edited for clarity, not sold as paid placement. If a commercial relationship could influence a specific write-up, we disclose it on the page or decline the assignment.

Rankings and "best of" articles are framework pieces: they state criteria up front and link to methodology. They are not pay-to-play lists. Providers cannot buy a verification badge; Verified is reserved for profiles that meet the evidence bar in our methodology, and most seed listings stay listed or reviewed until that work is done by hand.

Illustrative registry rows exist only to show field layout. They are labeled on the profile and in metadata so they are never mistaken for a researched vendor endorsement.

When public sources disagree or technical detail is missing, we use watchlist language or leave uncertainty explicit rather than smoothing it away.

Corrections are part of the job. Use the contact form or profile Submit a correction when you can. Include the profile URL, what is wrong, and links or attachments that support the fix. You can also email contact@unitbureau.com. We edit for accuracy; we do not charge for good-faith correction requests.
